Tecton X 2 Running Shoe (Women)

I ordered these as a Christmas present. My $200 sneakers arrived without a box, in a clear plastic bag inside the fed ex plastic shipping bag. I contacted them and was told as of 12/09, to reduce shipping material, footwear may be shipped without boxes. When asked if this was on mentioned anywhere, I was told it's not mentioned anywhere, because they aren't legally obligated to let you know that. You start this policy at xmas time and don't think people should know this? I wouldn't have bought them if this was stated. How you you give someone a pair of sneakers on a plastic bag? If you're proud of reducing shipping material, you should let your customers know what you're doing you can be applauded for doing so, not hiding the information that may cost you sales. If I had more time, I'd return them and order elsewhere. These aren't for me, but I keep all my shoes and sneakers on their boxes to keep them nice... this is definitely a deal breaker for me for future footwear purchases..
