Non-irritating

Broke my whole face out

Will try again
I received this product in a subscription box and decided to give it a try. I started using it mixed with moisturizer once a week, and then layering it under my night cream twice a week. At first my skin dried out and needed more moisture, but over time fine lines softened , pores were smaller, and I had less break outs over all. The trick for my dry perimenopausal skin was using the correct amount and moisturizing enough. Overall I appreciate the affordability, results, and transparency with ingredients. I recommend giving it a try

Not so bad skin to rough bumpy pimples
I purchased this retinol to treat some dark spots from old pimples. My skin was fairly smooth with minor blemishes. I started using it every other day and my skin started breaking out and got very rough. I thought it was the purging period but I continued on for about a month and a half and my skin kept getting worse. I quit using it hoping to be able to repair the damage but my skin is now bumpy and pimply and I am very sad that I ruined my skin :( I think this needs more detailed instructions on how to use it properly.

Retinol just. . .
Retinol just isn't kind to my skin and I wouldn't consider my skin to be sensitive. This made me break out so bad after one use that I had to stop after that. I won't say this isn't a good product, it just isn't compatible with my skin.

My Absolute Favorite!
Easily my favorite product from Hero Cosmetics, if not my favorite skin care product period. I had acne for 8 years now and have many scars from having repeated breakouts. I started off using this retinol and didn’t realize it made such a difference until I stopped ordering for a period of time and saw how my skin looked dull compared to when I was using it. Now, I use it every night and make sure to stock up on it so I never miss a night. My skin has honestly never looked better. Not only have my scars faded more but I also rarely get breakouts now compared to before. Love it so much.

Amazing stuff…
I have been using my first tube of this after recently ordering it and it is amazing in my opinion. The tube and applicator is easy to disperse amount preferred and then it’s easy to apply to face where needed, especially fine lines and wrinkles. I have noticed in the last few days many of the fine lines around my eyes and wrinkles near my mouth have vanished. Very cool. My favorite thing about this product is when applied it is soothing and glowy on your skin and face. I would easily order this product again!
