ALERT! SIZING ISSUE
BEWARE: This coat evidently has SIZNG issues. I had the same issue as posted in another review: Could NOT close at the chest. The website advises to size up and says the coat runs large. Mine did not. I ordered my normal size Medium and the chest was so tight. While some purchasers have not had size issues, some have. This speaks to a production run flop. I used to work for a major clothing manufacturer and we would experience these production problems sometimes. IMO, at least some of these coats are “defective.” Nordstrom would not accept the return because it was marked “final sale.” I missed that at the time that I bought this online. The extreme markdown is a red flag.

Beautiful Coat With Sizing Issues
This coat appears well made and is beautiful but please note there is absolutely no stretch or give in the construction. I have a muscular build and I could not move my arms freely with this coat. I’ve found Guess runs a bit small so I didn’t listen to the size guidance either. I was sad to send this back - but there is no way I could have worn the coat comfortably in my daily life.

Guess Belted Trench
Design of the coat is very cute - the material is not that warm so definitely buy for the look rather than any cold weather! I was disappointed because the listing said it is sized large and to order one size down, so I ordered a medium as opposed to my normal large and I could not close it over my chest! Shipping look longer than expected so I won’t have time to reorder before the event I was buying for.
