It’s a bit heavy garment however well made denim. Top is meant to be looser and bottom fit true to its size.
I am 5’4 so skirt length fits well , totally can be paired with some boots .

love the concept
I love the concept, but the shirt is extremely oversized. I am typically a small in tops and the top fits like and x-large. It’s ridiculously baggy and protrudes around the belly area, leading it to look frumpy. The skirt fits perfectly though. I am tempted to order an XS to see if the top fits better, but I’m worried the skirt will be too small.

Wanted to love this so bad.....
Im 5'5 129lbs, and a slender frame. There was so much excess fabric on the tummy area of this dress and protruded so much forward. I tried positioning and tucking and doing anything I could to make this work but i think it looks silly on me. The top is indeed oversized and I like that. And the quality of this piece is really nice! The waist is a great fit . Im a size 27 jeans and this is a size S. My only negative feedback is the exaggerated protruding fabric in the front of the dress where my tummy is. If I push the fabric flat, its nice, but the fabric moves with movement and won't stay flat. Ugh ! Really loved the way the dress looks on the other reviewers.

ehh, mixed feelings.
True to size in my opinion. I’m about a six or eight and I got a medium.. the skirt portion fit really well, flattering. The top part was just too baggy for me and too large. Too large to where it became unflattering.
