Cable Stitch Polo Sweater Dress

I typically wear a size 6 so I ordered a small and a medium to see which fit better. Either would have worked because the fabric is stretchy. Small fit more like a tunic or minidress to be worn with leggings, medium a bit more like a sweater dress. Both seriously hugged every curve. The dress is cute and the colors are exactly as pictured in the photo. The length hit me mid thigh on the medium and a touch higher on the small. Sadly, this dress only gets three stars because the fabric feels like it’s made from plastic threads. I’m not precious about having to wear organic fabrics or such but this fabric reminded me of 1980s nylon boat ropes. It was not itchy, or truly scratchy, but it was just uncomfortable in a very polymer sort of way. I cannot imagine wearing such fabric for an hour much less all day.
