Lewis Venetian Driving Loafer

I loved this shoe, but had to trash them after the leather in the toe area wore out after a short period. For the cost these should hold up way better. Because of that, I will not be buying another pair.

These shoes look amazing with jeans, the distressed leather is beautiful. Unfortunately, the fit feels bare compared with a proper comfort shoe. Tough choice but I kept the Sperry Gold Cup Boothbay instead, which are incredibly comfortable and a bit more dressy.

Got these for my boyfriend. He wears 10-10 1/2 and the 10 fit perfect. Good quality leather, very stylish and versatile. Can dress them up or dress them down. We bought the black ones. I saw someone wearing the brown and they are also nice.

I love these shoes! Originally, I ordered a half-size too small, but of course Nordy's makes return so easy, it was no problem. They included a return label with the original shoes, so there was not even the hassle of requesting a return label. I bought the originals during a sale that had ended by the time I needed to return them for a larger size. I expected I would have to pay the full price, but Nordstrum's honored the sale price, and sent me the new pair before I returned the originals so I could compare before I made my final decision. Kudos! But I digress. These are Frye shoes so one expects quality and that is what I got. Every stitch is perfect and looks very sturdy. These shoes are made in China but I do not see any quality issues. I have feet that are somewhere between "Medium" and "Wide." Generally, with casual shoes I wear a Medium width. These are a bit snug, but I am sure they will loosen up a little bit. I wear these with thin or no socks, so it is working fine. The leather was fairly soft right out of the box, and seems to be softening up a little more. The finish is fantastic. I am really picky when it comes to brown shoes as some can look really bad. These look great and I have actually received compliments from people at the table next to me at lunch the other day. If I had one very minor complaint, I would have preferred a standard heel where this shoe has a "heel" that rolls up a half an inch up the back of the shoe, sort of like some driving shoes do. I wish I could have given 4-1/2 stars, because these are really nice shoes and were a bargain as I got them on sale.

the shoe fit well, looked great and the price was right. i've worn them maybe 30 times, and the heels are totally worn through. the threading wore away after about 15-20 wears, and now the rubber has worn all the way down to the wooden midsole. these will be attractive because of the style and price, but do yourself a favor and spend an extra $100+ on a pair of mephistos. i've worn my 3 pairs of mephistos for several years, hundreds of wears, and no noticeable sole breakdown whatsoever.

I purchased these for my husband b/c he always complains about the lack of support in his "driving" loafers. He loves the perfect support this pair offers and the color and style is appropriate to dress up or down.

Made well as with all Frye products and my husband says it wears very well

I loved the shoe until the heal became worn only after wearing for one season.

What a good looking shoe! Will have to get really thin socks though.
