Shaft is faded and falling apart

I love the fit of these boots! They are so comfy. My only problem is the shaft. I opened them up, brand new out of the box, and the shaft is all faded and chipped away. Very disappointing.

My favorite pair so far

These boots were comfortable straight out of the box! This is the 4th pair I have bought in 4 months. I have a pair of workhogs, sport patriot and circuit proud already. These are by far my favorite pair so far. I can't stress the comfort of these boots enough. As soon as they delivered, I put them on like I always do to start the break in process. I wore them all day with no discomfort whatsoever. The leather is soft, and the look is better than the pictures shown on the website.
