Whisper Ruth Sleeveless Cocktail Dress

This dress was so flattering on me, I went back and got it in black. I’m 5’0, 145 lb, 36C, hourglass with a small tummy and this dress gives/flares just enough to cover the tummy while being structured enough to look like it’s a straight dress. Since I’m short, it hits just above my knee (even though I wish it was a little shorter, but that’s all dresses for me). I ordered a size 8 in the white, and bought the size 6 in black. I’m normally between a size 6/8 depending on the brand.

I purchased the white, but the color is creamy and leans a bit to ivory without it being too yellow. The color makes this look classier vs a bright white. The dress runs a bit small so while I use a 10 usually I purchased it in size 12 and it fits very comfortably. There is a nice cinch at the waist. I have narrow hips so the A-Line cut is very flattering. The dress is narrow on top,, a bit loose/wide at the bottom. I am 5'8" tall so the length fit very closely to the model maybe an inch or two lower (she is probably 5'10"). Still shows off toned legs! Great dress, fully lined, good weight and soft material. I highly recommend it. Can wear a chain type belt that drops to the hip a bit to give it a different look.

I love the fit and fabric! The neckline is so pretty and flattering.

Runs small. I had to go up one size to an 8 to get the perfect fit. The fabric is a nice weight and the style floats over the body. Love the knee length so it’s not a true mini. Neckline is very attractive.
