Gingham Minidress

I’m not sure what happened to French Connection. They used to have such high quality clothing. The fabric on this dress is so cheap and thin and reminds me of something you could get from one of those juniors stores in the mall for $10. It also got kind of weird. I have pretty broad shoulders, and the top of this dress was still too broad for me. If I didn’t have my shoulders held back perfectly, the fabric bunched up.

This cut has been my go-to summer dress for four consecutive years. As a petite woman in my early thirties, I’ve come to I love French Connection. The silhouettes are always flattering, and consistent with regard to sizing- I’ve purchased this mini dress in various patterns; worn to tons of outings/parties) Easy to dress up with a blazer and accessories or casual with a white jean jacket and espadrilles. I have a short torso, large chest (30E) but am otherwise petite on all accounts at a towering 5’3- fair warning, this style mini dress may be a little too short for those of us with legs for days.
