great sweater, warm, not itchy
I fell for this sweater in the store - great unique shape with seaming, cozy thick cotton-synthetic knit, fun cocoon shape, exposed seams at top. Very oversize so size down once or twice! Not itchy because it’s cotton not wool. Got both black and antler (nude/brown) because I love it so much for winter!

I absolutely love free people. I have many pieces summer spring fall winter. Tops pants and sweaters. This, after years of buying and wearing free people, is a grave disappointment. One wearing, and it is so badly pilled that I might have to take it to the donation bin because I’m not so sure that it’s wearable anymore. On the plus side, if you don’t care about it looking like it’s 25 years old, it is soft and comfortable, and that is very typical of free people clothing. But I’m afraid they missed the boat on the materials of this sweater.

I ordered this top in the light brown. The color is beautiful and the fabric is nice and thick. I am short so I questioned whether to even try this. Glad I did! It is definitely very oversized. The way it looks on the model is quite accurate. The sleeves are long, as shown. But they can be pushed up. It is a keeper.
