Rare Feeling Pleated Maxi Dress

I wanted to love this - it was super hard to get over your head if you have broad shoulders or any chest. I'm usually a large or xl, but with Free People sizing can be so difficult, so I went with a large and it is WAY too small in the chest. I could barely get it over my head. Once I struggled into it, the fit was nice if I had a larger size, as it was cute to be more fitted at the top/flowy at the bottom. If you have a small/petite chest and shoulders, I think this would be super cute especially paired with boots and a leather jacket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty dress that fits true to size. It goes to my ankles, and I am 5'3". I like that you can cinch up the waist a little more. It is lined with a black slip and flows nicely. The fabric is very lightweight and the dress is not heavy - except it is long, so that does add weight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is another great dress from Free People. I love the fit. Very comfortable. I’m only 5’2” it it’s more of a maxi than midi but it works. This dress can be dressed up with heels or down with flats or even white sneakers. Oddly, when I ordered it I thought I was getting the black version but when it arrived it was an orange background color with a small scale black floral print. But it’s a keeper as I really like the color.
