Nellie Sequin Twofer Top

I don’t understand the negative reviews at all. This top is so free people! It’s definitely a loose fit, which most of Free People is but what I love is that it’s like a nice t shirt fit with extra dazzle dazzle (sequin sleeves). I dress modestly so the shirt covers me well, but I can dress it up too because of the sleeves. I have both black and the light mauve and love them both!

I'm thinking the poor reviews are from people who aren't familiar with Free People. When it's listed as oversized, believe them! I have this shirt in both colors and absolutely love it. When something is rated true to size, I typically get a L or XL. When it's marked as slightly oversized, I wear a L, and when it's listed as very oversized, I get a Medium. (I'm 5'9 and wear between a L and XL shirts in most brands.) This shirt has a little more fit in the arms, which is great because it keeps the top from looking sloppy. The cotton fabric in the torso is very loose and flowy. Yes, baggy. That's what's great about it! I took a star away because the cotton fabric is very thin and I'm worried about how it will hold up over time. But for now they're adorable!

I love FP and wanted to love this shirt but it was way too large. I normally wear a medium and purchased both a medium and a small based on reviews but even the small was so large. The sleeves covered my hands and were scratchy. The worst was the cheap flimsy cotton that clung to all the wrong places. It needs to be a thicker cotton/poly blend or at least add some spandex. Beautiful design but poor quality. Sadly returned.

The shirt is very cute but for the price I don’t see the value. The sequins fall off like glitter even though they are sewn to the sleeves. I have sequins everywhere in my house car and anywhere I wear the shirt. I’m sure the sleeves will be bald soon enough and I won’t be able to wear it anymore. Not well made.
