Montana Cable Cotton Cardigan

Huge cardigan, not as good looking as in the pictures. It has an intervention on top of the pockets that is plain weird in mayerial and design. It sits very weird when worn. I usually wear XL and got this on M, still very big, very long sleeves, wide on shoulders. I am not sure what statement does this piece of clothing is expected to make, but I returned it. The 2 starts are only due to the fact that the cotton seemed to be a good one, otherwise it would have been 1 star as the minimum option.

I really wanted this sweater to work. an all-cotton long cardigan with buttons and pockets?? too good to be true unfortunately. I got a larger size than I usually do and didn't wear it for very long so I didn't notice the stretched-out quality that others have commented on, but what made me return it was the fact that I wore it for 2 hours and got orange fuzz and threads on everything the sweater touched. I haven't given up hope on a sweater like this with completely plant-based, biodegradable materials that is actually great, but this isn't it yet.

I agree that the sweater is huge. Instead of returning I will warm wash and shrink it a bit. The stretching out will then be less as will overall size. It is well made, has beautiful cable stitching through out not just up front, like the Irish fisherman style and It IS oversized and boxy but when paired with cute floral midi dress and cowboy boots, the combo works well. I don't like acrylic or the other blends seen in sweaters these days. Nice to find 80% cotton. The sweater but nice in cool weather; heavy weight.

First, I love FREE PEOPLE, which is generally a teenage size. I ordered this item, because it is organic and I like an oversized sweater that's longer. HOWEVER, this cardigan absolutely HUMONGOUS and boxy ... no shape at all. And those pocket rims are REALLY BRIGHT WHITE (look closely at image!) ... no reason for this and ruins the whole look. So it went back right away.
