I didn't pay attention to the reviews and ordered my usual size. It was child sized. I went up two sizes and it fits perfectly. No pulling on the buttons. Such a pretty top though so I'm keeping it and may order other colors. This is not the first Free Pople top I've ordered so not sure why this one's so small.

I wear a size 12 and bought the xl which says it is a 16. I could not button it. Runs very small. Unfortunately this is going back.

This top does run really small.
I'm a size 12 top and the XL just barely fits, and I'd better not shrink it.
I have the fresh green, that I paid full price for, so when I saw these marked down, I jumped for the black.
But when it came, it had white plastic buttons and it just ruined the whole look. Why not black buttons? Will return.
Otherwise, it's a cute top.

Why is free people sizing so inconsistent
