Really cute!
I did the same as the other girls, bought one size up. Usually a 28, bought a 29, they fit perfect. I'm 5'5", 136lb. athletic build. You will want a little room for the shape for that little flare to the lower seams.

Cute but run small
I’m normally a 28 but based on others reviews sized up. Glad I did. They fit perfect and do stretch a little although rigid denim. Sized ip to a 30.

So cute… at first.
For me these run a full size too small, I wear a 26 in everything but the 27 fit perfect in these. I really loved the cute details (see pic one). I’m happy I’ve learned to be more patient with clothing though: What I mean by that is I immediately loved these shorts when I tried them on, and then I walked my dog in them and you can see how quickly they stretch out around the leg (the walk is a leisurely 30 min max). In my experience when something stretches out that quickly it means it’s poor quality and will end up looking frumpy in no time. I don’t do poor quality denim anymore, so they went back :(
