Aelia Long Sleeve Maxi Dress

Purchased this for my daughter. Bought XL although she is usually L, since only one XL left, and I thought the cotton dress could shrink. The sleeves are the correct length for her. The dress looks good from back. Neckline and waistline look maybe too low in the front. The torso is jersey and the skirt part a lighter cotton, good for twirling. I thought that cozy jersey would be an advantage, but my daughter complains that the abundant skirt material is weighing down on the jersey torso part: when she puts her hands in the pockets, that relieves the pressure. We're talking about sewing in some elastic around the waist or adding some sort of shoulder straps on the inside to prevent the torso jersey fabric from stretching out. We bought this on sale, daughter finds the dress sufficiently comfortable, as well as great for the in-between spring/fall weather, so no need to return it.

This dress is beautiful, classy and comfortable. I am planing to wear it now and in Italy during the fall. The materials are very nice and soft. I ordered a small and it is a little big for me but that is ok since it is a fitted dress on the torso. I am a petite short woman but I like the long length to wear with sandals. I may purchase the white one as well since it fits me so well. I received many compliments. Love it.
