Eileen Relaxed Button-Up Shirt

I am an XS in the Eileen style but the “Washed” black Eileen denim shirts popped up, AND it was on sale. XS’s WERE sold out. I tried a small. I’m heavy for my height but the XS fits me perfectly. The sleeves are perfect and there is no gaping across the bust or anywhere else. The small size just looked toobig. I am fortunate to own several of the F&E denim shirts, both ruffled collar and plain. I absolutely love them, they are a great weight for FL, even in summer when I’m going in/out of the AC they feel cool and comfortable and I like that I don’t have to slather sun screen on my arms. I did not care for the black wash color, it’s not a true faded black, it’s a “fake distressed” manufactured color that doesn’t look much like the photo, IMO. I wish F&E would also make a non distressed denim shirt. The plackets on these can get ridiculously folded over and crumpled looking, just not my think

What a great white denim shirt! Currently wearing it with denim cut off shorts! Throw it in the washer and dryer or just hang to dry! It actually looks better rumpled. Love the tattered hem! The only drawback that almost caused a return is the dumb little pocket on the front. Not sure what vibe F & E was going for with the dinky pocket. I love the shirt otherwise and it’s been in constant rotation since I bought it. I try to ignore the pocket 🤷🏻‍♀️

Love, love love this shirt! It’s a bit on the pricey side but you wont find anything else like it. The fabric is amazing!! I typically wear a medium in button up shirts because I don’t like it snug around the bust line (36D) but I have both the small and medium in this shirt. Depends on how you want it to fit. If you want that oversized look, stick with your normal size but if you like more of a slender fit go one size down. If you want tailored (under a fitted blazer) then go to their Barry style. I have Barry in both medium and large.
