Barry Tailored Fit Glen Plaid Button-Up Shirt

This F&E Barry is gorgeous with denim jeans. Dress it up with jewelry. The feel is so soft, feels like cashmere but it’s a durable and washable cotton. Very high end materials and finishing. Lays perfect. The Barry style is more fitted. My usual size is a small in the Eileen. This shirt I ordered a large. I wanted it not to gap at any buttons and it doesn’t. Size up in the Barry if unsure of your size. I have some Barry shirts that are mediums and they fit well, these softer styles fit me better in the large due to the drape of the fabric.

I originally tried the XS, but it was a little too snug in the chest. For reference, I’m 5’3”, 125 lbs, wear a 36C bra, and typically wear a size 2. The last button at the hips wouldn’t close comfortably. At 46 years old, my hips are naturally a little wider than they were when I was younger, so the fit through the bottom was just too restrictive. I exchanged it for the Small, and it fit much better. The chest had enough room without pulling, and the bottom button closed comfortably while still giving me a flattering, tailored look. If you have a similar body type or are between sizes with curves through the hips or bust, I’d recommend sizing up.
