Quality ballet flat.
Pleasantly surprised with this ballet flat. I am 70 so I need comfortable shoes but dislike a mary jane because I feel it is a more juvenile style. This shoe has a much thinner strap & higher up on the foot.It is a little more mature looking so I think I can get away with it. It is a very comfortable shoe & the quality of leather is like butter.

Not an actual tie closure
The tie closure is elastic and is sewn shut. I'm afraid to cut it open for fear that it won't be a real tie and that it will make it unreturnable. So back they go.

beautiful comfortable flats, except one thing
I’ve had these flats for a little over a month now. They are my go to! They are high quality and fit perfectly. I have a slightly wider foot, so near my pinky toe, the top of my foot will rub on the shoe sometimes and irritate my skin. Despite that I love these shoes so much that I may buy them in black.
