Balin Tall Lug Sole Boot (Women)

Since it's not listed on the item description, the shaft circumference of these boots are 16" on a size 11. These are listed in the wide calf section of the website, but are not wide calf. Unfortunately I will have to return them, but hopefully I can save someone else the trouble by providing the actual measurements.

Living in Northern Indiana we’ve already had several days of accumulating snowfall that made a mess with the Snow/Slush. I don’t like wearing my Beautiful Leather Riding or Dress Boots out in such messy conditions because the salt takes its toll on them, especially with those that have Leather Soles and Leather Wrapped Heels. I typically wear my Hunter or Sorel Rain/Snow Boots and change them out at my work but when going out for a Date Night with my Wife I want something more dressy than a Rain/Snow boot, which is where these tall Franco Sarto “Balin” Lug Sole Boots work perfectly. The molded lug sole not only provides great traction but doesn’t absorb the Salt from a treated parking lot or roadway. It’s Casual yet Dressy enough for me to wear with either Leggings, a Dress or Skirt. I found them to fit True To Size in the Foot Area but just a little snug in the Calf yet they weren’t overly bad. The full length zipper made them Easy to put on and take off. I currently have the Cognac Color and have been debating on getting another. Because they have a Unisex Look I’d recommend these to Both Women and Men and Especially Gurls like myself.

Nice looking boots but I don”t think they are leather. I was a little disappointed to see the man made material as I opened the box. The description on the website says ‘leather upper/synthetic lining and sole’. On the inside of the boots it says Leather Upper/Balance Man Made. I would’ve given 5 stars if they were leather. They are TTS. I wear 6.5 and ordered a 7 because they didn’t have my size. I plan to wear them with thick socks.
