V-Neck Puff Sleeve Top

I needed a satin wine top to go with an outfit I had selected to take for a reunion. Unfortunately, my girlfriend forgot to tell be that her cat loves to shred silk before I laid my top on the bed in her guest room, where I was staying. I found this "on Sale" on line at Rack and though it wasn't silk, for the price it certainly should have been. Anyway, it was the perfect color and, luckily, since we were near Seattle I was able to purchase on line and pick up the top at a local Rack store. Now for the bad news; there's nothing about this piece that justifies even the sale price of $140, never mind the MSRP of nearly $200 more! It's 100% polyester, and not the best quality satin poly I've ever felt. It's okay, but might have been priced right at far less than half what I paid. Then there were the wrinkles. No matter how hard we tried - steaming, ironing, steam drying - the packing wrinkles just never came out. My advice would be to buy this somewhere under $50... and good luck with the permanent wrinkles. Or better yet, don't get in a bind and have to settle for something that's not worth what you paid for it.
