not for curvy/short women
These shorts are so cute! I tried on 26,27, and 28. The rise is really high for my size I’m 5’1” and the zipper is short I think.. it is hard to get over the hips when pulling on/taking off. I wanted to love them, the quality is great, but fit just wasn’t quite right on me. At 135# I would have gone with size 27 if I was going to keep.

Great for long torsos
These are the perfect high waisted 90’s style shorts. I struggle to find jean shorts that look good on me because of my long torso, but the 12” rise on these are perfect for me! I’m 5’10” 150lbs and got a size 27, which is my usual. I’m glad I didn’t size down because they don’t stretch THAT much.
