Wide calf, odd footbed
The calf is a bit wider than expected. My calves are average: 14.5 inches. If I'd intended to wear them with jeans tucked in, they would have worked. But that's not something I'm doing these days and I wanted the boots to be sleeker. I have a few pairs of Fly London shoes and find them comfortable. The footbed on these feels different. The arch seems misplaced.

Comfortable and attractive
My concern was Could this boot accommodate bunions and hammertoes. Well, the answer turns out to be yes. I have plenty of room.
The leather seemed stiff to me, yet it presented no problems at all in terms of comfort. The boot is nice on a slim leg and the mid-calf height is very flattering on me, at 5 foot 1 inch tall. Tall boots tend to be slightly too high but these are good. I like the casual style, and these boots checked all the boxes for me.

Bring back the first Mes boot
Hope you have no calves and very skinny ankles. Or don’t plan to tuck pants in. All the fly london boots seem to have reduced the calf sizing on their boots. I hope they listen to all the complaints and bring the other ones back. They also got rid of the awesome circular treads.
