Lulu Shimmerlux Flip Flop (Women)

Before flip-flops were sneakers, boots, all kinds of trying to be fancy things… They were just flip-flops. They were sturdy and consistent in size, and wonderful to wear. Now, I can’t find whatever model it is that was the original ones. I am ordering and trying everything, the sizes are inconsistent, a majority are to narrow, and the manufacturing seems cheap compared to the wonderful designs of the past. I’m so disappointed.

The shiny material is rigid with sharp threads. This scraped between my first and second toes and is actually painful when walking. Can’t wear these anymore and don’t think I can return. Stick to leather uppers only! Footbed is comfortable and the non-shimmery parts of this slipper are fine.

These shoes are a little dressier than average flip-flops, and I wear them as sandals with slacks. They have the added benefit of being all day, comfortable and providing orthopedic support and arch support. They have an added bonus that I didn’t expect, though when I wear them on the sand and the gravel they don’t pick up the rocks into the foot bed. They kind of fall away so you can walk on the sand or in Rocky Beach and not hurt your feet.
