F-Mode Sneaker

Shoes are very comfortable but they are hard to put on with socks.

These are high quality shoes and I really wanted to love them, but the shoebox is too shallow. This model is one of the few WIDE ones, so the size and width felt fine at first—but once I started wearing them, my toes felt cramped and the upper pressed on my bunions. This seems to be a consistent issue with FitFlop’s closed toe designs. The vertical space isn’t generous enough for a comfortable fit if you need a roomier forefoot. I’ve been buying FitFlops for 16 years and love the open toe models, but I’ve had to return most of the closed toe ones. I kept these hoping they would soften with wear—they didn’t. There’s just no room to stretch. I ended up cutting off the back and turning them into mules to wear around the house.

Love the F-Mode line in general, but this one falls short.

Also feels like there is no arch support, which is odd since I do not notice that with the other F-Mode lines.
