The Timeless Houndstooth Tweed Jacket

I ordered a medium, my regular jacket size and…it could have fit ten of me in there. I would need a size xxxs in this jacket! I wasn’t very impressed with quality and the blue color either, it really doesn’t feel like the price tag marks and the color is not as pretty as pictured. It feels a little cheap. I wanted to love it, but had to return.

I really wanted this to work. I thought the pattern and color were adorable and would be a great statement jacket to add to my wardrobe. I listened to reviews and sized down but WOW, even going down 1 size was not enough and the sleeves were ridiculously long to the point that they hid my fingers and I have normal length arms. I am a true size 10 with normal proportions and this coat just looked weird and unflattering. And the shoulders - zero shape - they sloped and looked sloppy. I am not a hard reviewer either. I just could not post my feedback since this is expensive for a polyester jacket. My daughter said I looked like a lumberjack. Promptly returned. Favorite Daughter you need to do better.

I found this jacket to be gorgeous! I’ve worn it a few times and gotten many compliments. The material is unique looking, an almost frayed like texture to it. Yes, runs large. I usually wear a medium and got the small but possible an XS could fit too although maybe too short in length if XS. The arm length is generous.
