The Dream Favorite Wide Leg Pants

I am 5'7" and go between 4 & 6. I found these to be true to size but ultimately preferred the waist of the 6, as the 4 rode up a little bit and ultimately was very high waisted. The problem for me was the hips - the hips in both the 4 and 6 were too big (but I have narrow/straight hips) and that plus the pleats just looked unflattering. I will say it made my waist look TINY but that doesn't really matter to me as I'd almost always be wearing them with a blazer. So many reviewers have a problem with the length - the length is literally why I purchased them! I filtered for "long" and these showed up. "Regular" length pants are always too short on me - often even with flats. I knew I'd have to get these hemmed, but for me that's a plus. They are made of substantial, heavy material. You'll have to be somewhat tall and slim for them to look good and for you not to get lost in them. Anyone shorter or larger than me probably won't love the look. At this price point, I feel like I can do better. If they were $150, I would have kept them.

The stretch waistband in the back is barely stretchy… plus the sizing was just not working for me as a tall midsize woman. I bought 12 and 14 and neither worked. The 12 didn’t zip up but was good in the legs and the 14 zipped but the top of the pant was so high up they were below my boobs. Are they supposed to be baggy where the crotch is half way down the inner thigh so the waist band can be at the waist?

I have the Favorite Pant and the Dream Favorite Pant, and I truly love the Dream pant more. The waist is so forgiving it makes the pants so much more comfortable. The quality is phenomenal, and you can tell they are built to last. They are long but I am ok with that because it gives you the ability to get them tailored to your perfect length. These are the best trousers on the market.
