The Favorite Floral Maxi Skirt

I just got this skirt and tried it on and am loving it so far. Even though it is not lined, the fabric is substantial enough that it doesn't cling. It flows quite nicely, with a bias cut that skims the hips and then flares slightly at the hem. At 5' 3", it is not too long me (reaches my ankles as shown on the model), so I don't know how it would fit on someone much taller. I wasn't sure about the hidden elastic waistband, but it fits and lays quite nicely and looks great with a shirt tucked in. The pattern is bold but pretty. I particularly like the color scheme and weight of the skirt as it is seasonless. You can wear it with a tank and sandals in summer or sweater and boots in winter. And it looks great with a black top--which my wardrobe is full of! For comparison, I like the fit and feel of this skirt much more than the similar Layla skirt from Reformation. And at the Nordstrom Rack price, this skirt was also a better deal!
