Erika Sandal (Women)

I am a big Eileen Fisher fan when it comes to her clothes, but on the rare occasions I purchase her shoes, I've found them uncomfortable and given them away. I thought these sandals would work, but, like one of the reviews states, the fit is such that there is no support and they really are unsafe. There's too much room between the top of your foot and the leather strap near the front. I returned both pairs I bought (one was to be gifted). I am surprised and disappointed that these sandals passed quality control. They're lovely to look at and I could see wearing them in the tropics with several different outfits, but can't take the chance of slipping or twisting my ankle.
