Cotton Midi Sundress

I typically wear a size 10 but this dress is larger than I need. The straps are too long and fall down. I thought I would alter it, however I have ordered the 8 and I am hoping it will fit a bit more snugly. I will have to hem it slightly as I find it longer than I like, even though I am 5'7". The longest I like my dresses is a little longer than knee length. Other than that, the color is super pretty and different in the chambray and I love the bodice.. Hoping the 8 fits perfectly. It's very French!

I bought this in navy blue. It’s true to size but I’m 5’4” and it’s kinda long.

Material very stiff

I love this dress, and I never say that! I’m “plus” sized, apple shaped and have a really, really hard time finding clothes, dresses, in particular, that I feel flatter me and that are comfortable. This one I can rock. I’ll style it with a light cardigan to cover up my arms, an obvious insecurity of mine, and not have to think about it again or constantly pull at my waist to try and camouflage my middle. If I had to come up with something to nitpick, I’d say the fabric is a little heavier than you’d expect from a sundress. But, that’s one of the things that makes it flattering, IMO. For reference, I’m 5’6” and 190 lbs and bought the size 18. The markdown/sale makes this an incredible deal, as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the color! The dress is great material and feels good on the skin. It runs a little big in my opinion as I feel I could have sized down one. The corset part goes a little lower than I would like and gives a weird shape around my hip area. Other than that, it’s a pretty dress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this dress. I wore it to my daughters graduation. It was a warm day and the dress wasn't overly heavy and allowed movement. The material isn't thin but a good solid material and you don't need a slip. The top has a good amount of stretch. I over all am so pleased with it. Very well made.
