Eliza Check Midi Dress

Super cute dress, love the color and the pattern. I always have sizing issues with this brand, and this dress was no exception. I ordered it in an 8 (based on another dress from this brand I had ordered in a size 6 being too small) and, of course, this one is too large. As another reviewer mentioned, there’s a lot of unnecessary fabric around the bust and shoulders of this dress. The fabric on the bodice of the dress is stretchy, so it would have been better if the brand l erred on the side of smaller, not larger, so the dress could be fitted on top and flowy on the bottom. Anyway, all this to say - size down if possible. I’m 5’7”, 150 lbs for reference.

5’ 4” tall, this dress in size 14 was very roomy and way way designed for a taller person. The bust area was way too long for me. Size down by two sizes your normal size and make sure you’re pretty tall before buying this.

I really liked the design of this dress (especially the color in person) and was sad to return it but the fit was off for me. In particular, the upper back/shoulder had too much bulk/ extra fabric.. I wish I could have removed some and lifted it up a few inches on me, but as is it sat too low and the V and lines below the chest were too low. I couldn’t size down because the waist was TTS. It’s a nice dress but didn’t work on my body.
