These have vent holes in the side
It doesn't show in the pictures and isn't mentioned in the description, but there are vent holes in the side of the shoe. So they wouldn't be good for puddles or walking in mud. They also do not fit skinny, low volume feet. Even with wool socks, I couldn't walk in them without my foot falling off the back since the top part gaped above my foot rather than hugging it.
