Scoop Neck Stretch Organic Cotton Midi Dress

The fabric makes a lot of noise! Whenever I stand or sit, it rustles like a bag of chips. Pfft. Anyway, also, the straps are cut in a way that my bra straps do show, so I've had to buy a special bra to wear with this. The color is glorious but the style/fabric leaves a lot to be desired. Would not re-buy, but if they made it with short or cap sleeves I might take a chance on the rustling noise because the overall shape of the dress is good.

I got this dress for travel. It does not have a lining, lightweight but not see through, crinkle fabric does not require ironing. I usually buy Medium size in Eileen Fisher, but this dress I purchased in size Small.

For fabric that does not stress, this dress is very comfortable and doesn't look frumpy. This can be dressed up because to the unique fabric.

It's hard to say anything bad about Eileen Fisher staples like this dress. The style is timeless, the cut is roomy and breezy (you can definitely eat in this style!) and the organic cotton seersucker fabric makes it perfect for even the hottest summer day. And the crimson color is so vibrant and gorgeous, it's an instant mood elevator. Only downside is the design doesn't have pockets, but it's so easy to wear that's a minor complaint at best (reduced to a four star only because Eileen Fisher is usually big on pockets). Order down a size if you're unfamiliar with the brand and want something more fitted; I tend to stick with Medium in this brand for extra roominess without getting lost in the fabric.
