Shrunk hugely and had a hole with the first wash.
I ordered this to replace two identical knit linen tanks that just wore out. But on the first wash, gentle cold per instructions, it shrunk about 6 inches in length and came out with a hole on one side.I have never had anything like that happen with an Eileen Fisher item before. It’s far too late to return it, but it’s so out of character for that company I thought it was worth a review.

Capsule Wardrobe Must
This is my favorite tank top! I love the loose, flowy fit which is not easy to find when you are large chested. (38G) I usually wear a Large or XL, and I ordered a Large. It fits perfectly and has not shrunk in the wash.
I hang to dry, so have not put in dryer.
This is my go-to top and I’ve worn with jeans, skirts, and flowy linen pants and shorts. It travels well, no ironing necessary!
I liked so much I bought it in two colors, cocoa and black.
Add this to your wardrobe, you’ll be happy you did!

I LOVE Eileen Fisher! I usually order black, black, and what goes with black. This tank is a typical cut and fit…except that in linen it gets softer with each washing. The cocoa is a great year-round color—not too dark or too light- worthy of my deviation from black. I ordered a whole outfit in cocoa.

This is my favorite tank from Eileen Fisher - light weight, A-line shape, non-clinging linen fabric for summer. I love the rich teal blue, and wish they made more garments in this color. Oversized, so if you haven’t tried EF clothing, order a size down. My normal dress size is 14, but I order EF tops in size medium.
