big hole on the left side seam

So I have another pair of these shorts with a different print on them that I’ve had for a few years now, which is why I bought the same style. I didn’t treat this pair any differently than the other pair but I saw this hole on the pants! Would it be possible to return?

Great fit for running

These shorts were not too small. It fit true to size for me. Short waisted long leg 5’4 height and it fits fine, stayed put on my postpartum body on my run!
