size issue

Size up; calf part runs narrow
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After I spent close to 30 min lacing them (I kept missing a couple of holes) they fit my feet perfectly, but the part that was above the top of my foot kept digging into my foot, and even with thin pants on and loosening the laces, the tongue of the boot barely covers my leg. The corners of the boot and the top of it will crease as time passes. The bottoms have good grip! Since I have short legs anyway, I think I'll return these and go for a shorter style instead.

Still fit like a glove!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So nostalgic when I wear these. I got this style for my teen daughter for school this year & they kept bringing me right back to highschool, so when I decided to grab some "soft" boots w/ no heel for casual days or to wear with dresses for a funkier look, I knew I had to try docs again. I haven't had a pair since the 90's but they're just as good if not better than my old ones. Super soft supple leather, very comfortable all around. I love how high these sit on the calf & the inner zipper so I don't have to bother with the laces every time. The color is a true black- not a brown/black like another reviewer said. I'm still breaking them in as they're a tiny bit snug in places since I sized down to a 39 or Women's 9 as suggested because I'm a 9.5 in most shoes with bunions & wide feet. Still ,they're not uncomfortable. I love them & highly recommend trying a pair.
