Cute!
I normally wear a 7.5 in closed toed shoes. The 7 fits me perfectly. Buckles are not easy. I adjusted to where I am able to slip on vs. working buckles. My daughter said it will take time to be comfortable. I have found them comfortable out of the box! Great purchase!

Order the 8065 Mary Jane in your normal size
I read the many 8065 negative reviews, and ended up ordering two different sizes, but I didn't need to. I am a true size 10, and the 10 fit perfectly. I didn't even open the size 9 box that I ordered. The buckles on the 8065 Mary Jane's are stiff as people mentioned, but I had no problem opening them. I set them looser than I would normally wear, and then slide my feet in and out of the shoe with a sock on. This way, I don't have to deal with the stiff buckles.
Once on, these Mary Janes are very comfortable, just like my boots. And don't forget, Docs need to be worn a bit to soften up the leather. So my advice is, order your normal size in this shoe.

So CUTE!
These are absolutely cute as can be, and I love the colors. I ordered a size 9 and a size 10 US. Other reviews said that these were nice and soft or more broken in feeling compared to regular Dr Martens I found that are just as stiff as the others and will need to be broken in. The 9 was a little more snug (I wear a 9.5-10 and 41 EU generally) but without heavy socks on the 10 heel lifted when I walked so they would be way worse when they got broken in. They’re kind of hard to buckle since the leather is so stiff that I had to prop my foot up to see the hole and was a lot of work to get them buckled. Overall it’s a very cute and unusual set of Mary Jane’s that once broken in will last forever 💜

Nostalgic
I had a pair of Mary Jane Docs in the 80s and these are very nostalgic for me. The floral print is very cute and I’ve gotten lots of compliments on them so far. As other reviewers have stated the buckles are very stiff and you do have to undo at least one to slip them on but it’s getting easier. You definitely have to break in Docs. My son had a pair of Doc break in socks that are double thick that I had to steal to make the break in process doable. These socks are a definite must and have helped a lot. Very happy with this purchase.

Cute but sizing is off
I’m a solid 10 and ordered a 10 in the taupe color. Tried them on and they are too big, my heels come up so I’m ordering a size down. Size 10 equates to a EU42, which as a 10 and all of my other shoes are 40/41. Love the taupe color, material is not stiff more soft. Fingers crossed the 9 fit.
