I love these shoes! I’m so glad that I got them for sale price. They are shoes for work as I work as a server in a restaurant. I needed leather quality shoes and these fit the bill. I’m planning to purchase a second pair for everyday use. The quality of dr martens can’t be beat.

These were by far the hardest to break in, wish they made wide size since of foot is wider. Such a beautiful shoe and a must have in your Doc collection. Such a versatile shoe, get many compliments.

Love them
I needed shoes to wear to work and I preferred to get something that could fit with my personal style and be wearable outside of the office as well. These work perfectly. I went to my local Dr. Martens store and tried the 1461 on in the smooth leather and the Mary Jane’s in the Virginia leather. I liked the 1461 style and the Virginia leather but unfortunately they didn’t have that in stock. Thankfully I found them at Nordstrom Rack at a sale price! The leather feels really nice and soft. I can’t speak to a break in experience because I haven’t wore them out yet. My only concern is about getting creases on the toe and the inside of the shoe seems like a vinyl that might peel. But I still give 5 stars because they are so cute.

very happy with the fit
I'm normally a 8.5-9 and the 8 fit well. The toe box is nice and roomy, and then tighter in the middle of the foot. They will take a little time to break in but not nearly as bad as the smooth.
