1461 Derby (Women)

I needed shoes to wear to work and I preferred to get something that could fit with my personal style and be wearable outside of the office as well. These work perfectly. I went to my local Dr. Martens store and tried the 1461 on in the smooth leather and the Mary Jane’s in the Virginia leather. I liked the 1461 style and the Virginia leather but unfortunately they didn’t have that in stock. Thankfully I found them at Nordstrom Rack at a sale price! The leather feels really nice and soft. I can’t speak to a break in experience because I haven’t wore them out yet. My only concern is about getting creases on the toe and the inside of the shoe seems like a vinyl that might peel. But I still give 5 stars because they are so cute.

Its super cute but it runs small for me especially around the instep area. My normal size is 7.5 so knowing the most dr. Martens run big I thought this size would work but nope. I do have higher instep so that might be why. Thought I could loosen it up around the shoe string area but I cant. So Imma just return and order a size up. Sad that it didnt even come in dr. Marten box. Hopefully the size 8 will do.
