Out of the box comfort
I was worried about this online purchase, because I already own a pair of DM1460's. It is the "mono" version where everything, even the sole stitching and back tab are pure black. I am a 7.5 and chose to size down at that time, because when I tried on the 8, my feet seemed to be swimming in them. My toes always touched the top of the boot but I can still walk in them for several miles, not extremely uncomfortable just a tiny bit. I was so excited to buy them in the UK where they originated, I suppose I glossed over those tiny details :-)
Fast foward a few years and I saw these. I was on the fence about sizing up, because there wasn't the opportunity to try them on, but I'm glad I did. It is an extemely roomy toe box, but I need that because my feet are a bit wide. This double strap model also has a much more comfortable footbed than my mono's, which didn't have the AirWair sole I suppose. And although I was concerned the look would be too similar to my old pair, I would say the double buckle design and the contrasting yellow stitching do more than enough to visually set them apart.
I really don't expect there to be hardly any break-in period. And for this price point, I am super happy I found these.

Nice boots they ran small around the ankle! The straps and buckle around the boots are real nice, but they could’ve made them wider around the ankle women ankles, a wider than men’s

I love this look
These boots are very stylish. They give a neo/retro vibe if that's possible. I see today's era, you know "trendy motto jacket combat boot vibe" and I also see that classic 1980's jean jacket combat boot lower east side vibe" I definitely think this style will be a classic that'll fit any era. Very very trendy. Comfortable and great quality. I see me pairing this with an all black snatched one piece, Jean jacket and a fedora.
