What it is: A nostalgic, unisex banana-candy fragrance combined with more sophisticated notes for perfume lovers who remain kids at heart.
Fragrance story: Yellow Daze opens with a burst of ripe banana aroma interlaced with warm, spicy rum, ginger and zesty grapefruit notes. The fragrance matures into an elegant, sumptuous, heart of ylang, jasmine, milky notes and white woods. It then dries down to a slightly sweet, sensual, earthy and almost smoky base with notes of vanilla, santal, patchouli and incense. Smells like a bowl of shapely, fruit-flavored candies, all grown up.

Not for me
This scent was so strong with patchouli and ***. I did not pick up banana. Very masculine.

Charismatic Incense Fragrance
This scent is so fun and unique. I'm not normally into "gourmand" fragrances, but this has a nice balance of deeper notes to add interest. The top banana note's intensity mellows quickly to add nuance instead of dominate. Overall it seems more of a "warm" fragrance. Longevity is about 4 hours on my skin, and while it could last longer on my clothes, this is a scent that shines better on skin, in my opinion. I removed one star because the fragrance makes me feel sleepy, like having spent time in the sun with friends at the beach at a bonfire, having maybe indulged a little. Not headache-y, but kind of sleepy and dazed. Maybe that's just a scent memory/association for me, but it does end up limiting when I spray the scent, so it's harder for me to find times to wear it.

My Scene for Life
Smells exactly like what's listed. I immediately smell banana when I spray it. It's sweet and flirty and it last all day. Definitely a staple in my collection.

HORRIBLE SCENT
Nothing about it smelled like banana. Deceptive description and please don't tell me perfumes smell different on everyone. I sprayed it on a tissue and had my neighbor smell it. She agrees with me. HORRIBLE, cheap smelling.
