Did not suit my purpose
The fabric was not to my liking, it is light and summer weight, and the result was not flattering.

Pretty but not for everyone
This dress is beautiful. The detailing with the lace overlay and the one-shoulder really make it a knock out. However, if you have an hourglass frame this dress might not be for you. It might be considered a "no-brainer" that a black and nude lace dress might be a little more "reveling" but the way the fabric gathers is unflattering on someone with curves - I think the point was to accent the smallest part of your waist, but in turn it just highlights your stomach. Also, it photographs really poorly. Sadly, I already wore this so I won't be returning it however, unless you have the figure of the model, I wouldn't recommend this dress.

Something was off
I ordered this dress in a 14 and felt I could've probably gotten a size smaller. Unfortunately, there was something not right with me wearing this dress and so I did return it. The fit was not great as the material is flimsy and doesn't really hold your body together as some fabrics do. I'm not saying the quality was horrible, it was lined very well and the lace was beautiful. I didn't mind the length even though my husband and friend said it would look better if it were above the knee. I did hike it up to kind of get a feel for what that would look like and can't say that it was a bad suggestion. I'm not the tallest person in the world (only 5'4") so if you are on the tall side and wear spanx it will probably look great on you. Also, this was my first attempt at wearing the one shoulder look and I'm not sure that with my broad shoulders it flatters my body type. I really wanted to love this dress! It was worth a shot, but it missed the target.

Almost stunning
I needed this dress to be sophisticated, classy, and sexy. It sort of was...but it just missed being worth the money. It is a wonderfully lightweight material. I am 5'7", and the dress went just past my knees. I thought that's what I wanted, because often that looks more sophisticated, but it actually just made me look stumpy, even with high heels. The fabric right above the bust where it is slanted for the one-shoulder neckline didn't lay perfectly flat, so you could see the lining awkwardly. I got a size 2, and it wasn't too tight. I am about 120 pounds, not very curvy. It also didn't cup my behind in a sleazy way. However, the real problem was the ruching. If you like ruching, this may work for you. For me, it made me look a little thicker in the middle than I am. It also created a weird line around my behind from the side...kind of an upside down V. From the front, if I pose like the model in the picture poses, I look pretty awesome. But it just doesn't have the wow factor I thought it would.
