Great shoe, but the suede material is odd.
I love Donald Pliner shoes. Hard to find shoes made in italy any more. However, the suede quality is off on this one, sort of like the shoe has aged incredibly and isrough looking. Maybe it's 15 years old???

9 is an 8.5
Ive purchased DP for 25 years. Never had a size issue. I am pretty much a true regular 9 or 40 Euro. I loved the look of these, everything I was looking for in a loafer, except they are too short, too small. Id say they are 8.5 max size. So disappointed as these had such great design. Bought two colors, both awesome, both returned .

runs small
I was really excited to wear these, but unfortunately they run small. They felt very tight on my feet. I’m usually a size 6 with slightly wider feet, but these didn’t fit comfortably. Sadly will be returning.

Runs Narrow
This loafer gets high marks for style and craftsmanship. They run narrow and are stiff when trying them on. However, I am hopeful they will loosen-up, especially in width after wearing them a few times. I feel they will slip on the back of the foot if I order a 1/2 size up. I am a consistent size 6M.
