Flattering and comfortable
I normally wear a 6 and ordered these in a 6 and they fit as expected. They are comfortable and flattering. I measured the inseam before I washed them in cold water and put them in the dryer on a normal cycle until fully dry. The inseam was 32” before being washed and dried and 30.75” after. So they will shrink in length about 1.25” but the shrinkage elsewhere was minimal. This info is for anyone else that doesn’t hang dry their clothes. I wear these jeans with flats. They were slightly long for flats before I washed and dried them but after they just barely hit the floor - perfect length now.

Smelly Jeans
I purchased a pair of Democracy jeans and they have a nasty odor. I didn't notice it until I arrived home. I washed them in my regular detergent, but it didn't help a lot. Does anyone have suggestions?

Love Democracy jeans
Very nice jeans. Unfortunately I'm in between sizes 8-10, so I returned them. Also they are long, so I'll wait until I can get them in petite. I'm 159 lbs., apple shaped and 5'3". The 8 almost worked.

Needed to size up
I own several pairs of Democracy jeans, every one in a size 4. I even own this same style but in pink denim in size 4. For some reason, this style in size 4 I could barely zip closed. I returned for a size 6 and it fit perfect, like all my other size 4s.

Wow, as a curvy wide hipped girl, it has been so hard to find jeans that were stretchy and comfortable to wear all day. I’ve tried many expensive brands and they all shrink inevitably or are super non/stretch. This brand is amazing!! I feel like I finally found what I’ve been searching for.
