Sicily Platform Slide Sandal

I took a chance on these since they were a final sale. Overall, I'm glad I did. They are exactly as pictured. The olive color is beautiful. The quality and craftsmanship are excellent—they look and feel very well made. I was also impressed with the presentation. The packaging was exceptional. A dust bag was included. They do run a little long. I typically wear a 7.5–8. I ordered the 7.5 based on the sizing guide, which fit well. However, if the 7.5 had been unavailable, I think I could have comfortably worn a 7. The only downside is that they're quite stiff and heavier than expected. The back strap of the crisscross upper is especially firm. They aren't very flexible or immediately comfortable. I'm planning to wear them around the house to see if they soften up with wear. At the sale price, they were a fun gamble. I'm happy with the purchase. I wouldn't have paid the full $295, since I'm not sure the style is timeless enough for that investment.
