Frozen Drink Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The slushiest makers handy for making summer drinks to take to the pool. It makes about 3-4 glasses of drinks. In the images here, I made a lemonade slushie and added vodka to make vodka lemonade slushies. I filled mine up in my reusable yardstick and it was a fun drink to bring to the grill and the pool. The machine is easy to use however requires a long prep time. The ice bowl needs to be chilled for hours before and I would appreciate not having to do that in advance. Also the slushies we make usually have the ice melt while swirling the drink itself so it becomes less slushy like consistency.

We have been using this mostly for shaved ice so far. It is so cool, as fam members all like it differently. The little ones enjoy watching it change as they turn the dial. We are really looking forward to some of the recipes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to like this one so much — the idea is great, the execution isnt quite there. It’s a lot of work and didnt quite work right. I ended up with cold water in the middle and minimal slush to my liquid. I had to find a way to remove the water from the middle so I could refill with ice and salt to get it cold enough to actually make the slush. Once that happened, it was decent. It’s a pain to set up and a pain to clean. Super loud too. I think my husband’s texts sum it up pretty well… It’s fine if it’s your only option but I don’t think it’s worth the effort.

Thi inner metal piece really needs to stay in the freezer for a day or two to be cold enough to freeze the drinks. I found it a bit tedious to do all of the required steps and it was somewhat difficult to follow the directions. I would suggest setting some time aside for that. Once i got it figured out it worked perfectly and the slushy came out great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the Dash Slushy & Frozen Drink Maker for its compact and beautiful design, since it does not take up much space in the kitchen and looks very modern. The noise and sound during use are quite moderate, not annoying at all, and works efficiently by preparing frozen drinks and slushies with a soft and delicious texture in a short time. In addition, its energy consumption seemed reasonable to me for the performance it offers, being a practical and fun option for preparing cold drinks at home.
