Neither comfortable nor waterproof
There is no lining to this jacket. It's cold on bare skin, only marginally water repellant, and not large enough in the extra large. I had it with me on a trip, so I had to use it, but I didn't like it at all.

NICE, BUT NOT PERFECT
The Cole Haan packable rain jacket is nice, but not perfect. First of all, it runs one to two sizes smaller. I’m 5’4” 135 lbs. and can usually fit a relaxed fit XS or regular fit S. I had to order a M for it to fit. Second, the Red color is slightly bordering on Red Orange which is fine for rain gear, but I prefer a true red such as Lipstick Red. Third, the compartment for the stowaway hood is poorly designed as it looks and feels bulky. Even without the hood stowed into it, the collar sits awkwardly high and huge around the neck. The few things about this jacket that I love are: 1) it’s lightweight and packable 2) it’s unlined so the sleeve length can easily be hemmed for petite arm lengths like mine. For now, I honestly haven’t quite decided if I’m going to keep it or return it yet.

Did not fit
Very nice jacket. Met all requirements except fit. I ordered an xl so it would be a little roomy and could barely get it on. Very tight in the arms. Have to return it. Very disappointed.
