[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Men’s jacket. Definitely a premium feel. Sizing is on the bigger size. I’m typically a large and this seems too big. I think a size down would have been better for me. Overall, definitely worth trying to see if it fits your wardrobe.

It is thick enough to provide solid warmth and has many pockets for storing things or to slip your hands in. The material is durable. To me this is more of a chore coat than a fashion statement as it’s a little bulky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this isn’t a waxed jacket. It has a fabric that feels like waxed canvas, but it isn’t. While I knocked a star off my review for that reason alone, the fact it isn’t waxed fabric will cut down on maintenance. True waxed jackets need to be recoated with wax and oil every couple of seasons. The jacket fits me well. The XL fits a bit big, but considering this is an overcoat, it would allow for winter layering. A great option to have in your car as it wasn’t too bulky. I was really starting to like this jacket and then it got left somewhere. Don’t know where I left it, but I blame Colorado for its wild temperature swings for the loss of this jacket. A big bummer, as I was really enjoying it. You’ll enjoy owning one of these jackets too. It’s comfortable, looks good, and appeared to be fairly durable. The price for what you get isn’t bad either.

I can wear a thick sweater underneath for colder days. It has lining inside, very good quality and feels sturdy to me. The color is great and easy to wear with jeans or pants.

But I did order a size too big, so now I have room for extra layers or extra burgers. The only downside is the price-it’s definitely not cheap. Still. Good quality!

It is billed as a rain jacket because it has a somewhat waxy finish, however it is also super thick and keeps you very warm. I wore it while we were in Denver and it was absolutely perfect for the 40 degree weather and I felt super comfortable. I like that it has both a zipper and clasps to keep you super secure. The other thing that I really liked was that there are multiple pockets for both carrying items as well as keeping your hands warm. Overall, this jacket is very well made, looks super sharp, and protects you from both the rain and cool.

There’s unique stitching and more corduroy on the underside of the collar, a heavy-duty zipper, and a single vent in the back. The fit is relaxed throughout and generally true to size – the shoulders are perfect for a ~42-44 jacket, sleeve length is appropriate but on the longer side, and the bottom hits at the upper thigh. I’d prefer that the waist was a bit more tailored, but it will be perfect for layering comfortably over a sweater or work flannel. The pocket layout is thoughtful, with handwarmer welt pockets on the chest, and flap pockets with snaps at the waist. The interior of the pockets are lined with soft fleece, which will be a much-appreciated touch on cold days. While it’s not a heavy-duty storm jacket, it should handle light to moderate rain well and looks polished enough for casual office wear or evenings out. Overall, it’s a versatile, well-finished piece that feels like a solid wardrobe addition.

There wasn’t any strong or unpleasant smell, which I appreciated, and jacket feels reasonably breathable for waxed style. However, the first wasn’t great overall: the shoulders fit well, but the jacket runs too long at the bottom, and the sleeves are longer than expected, which affected how it looks and feels when worn. The adjustable is limited, so it’s harder to fine-tune the fit. On the top of that, I ended up with the wrong color, which wasn’t my preference. Overall, the material is okay, but the sizing and color made this one miss the mark for me.
