Emmie Bow Driver Loafer (Women)

I have been wearing Cole Haan shoes for ages; I know my size. I normally wear a 6.5 unless I am purchasing boots I plan on wearing socks with, then I buy a 7. These shoes are enormous. I cannot walk properly in them because I step out of the shoes when I take a step. I ordered a 6.5 M and these feel like a 7.5. The heel area is so wide I could wear a thick sock with this shoe (which is not the look or feel I am going for). I will be returning these and perhaps ordering a smaller size. I honestly think this pair may be mismarked because the size is SO off.
