Cool and Cute
These are hard leather boots but I broke them in one day with no rubs or blisters. They softened right up and Im confident they will continue to do so. Very secure good grip sole. Not too heavy weight. Very good quality. My commute includes 2+ miles of walking. First day out super rainy Seattle day and they did great! Feet were warm and dry. Form and function! I normally wear a 7 but Cole Haan always runs a little snug. 7.5 was perfect with a medium thick sock. I love them.

Pain by heel. Rigid leather hurts.
The shoe looks marvelous and expensive but it runs small on me, my heel really hurts and part of my big toe rubs whenever I take a step. If it were in a size 12 it could have been okay but the tight fit along with the hard unforgiving leather will leave me in blisters.. Also there is little or no cushion under the foot or the insole. I can't imagine wearing these . I am returning them. Hopefully they will fit someone else better.

Ordered another pair of lace up leather boots from another brand that was much softer. The leather from this shoe felt very stiff and uncomfortable. It’s very cute though, I think it would be nice if you take the time to break it in

Excellent walking boot!
This is for the brown suede. Beautiful, comfortable, easy to get into with the side zip. No break-in time, waterproof, good lug sole…literally checked all the boxes. Can wear with all the current jean styles… barrel, wide leg jeans, straight.

Stiff and uncomfortable
I wanted to like these but they were incredibly uncomfortable because the leather is stiff and the heel forces your weight forward into the front of the shoe. I had these on for less than two minutes and I couldn't wait to free my feet from the jail of these shoes.
